These momentary-break pushbutton switches are ideal for triggering the Cartek GT Battery Isolator (Part No. 1068-107). Switches are sealed to IP68 standards (resistant to immersion in water), so they are appropriate for mounting inside or outside the car.
These Normally-Closed (NC) switches interrupt the circuit as long as the button is pressed. When the button is released, the switch turns back on. (Note that this is the opposite of the more common momentary-contact pushbutton switch.) Multiple switches should be wired in series, so that pushing any button will break the circuit.
Switches are sold individually. Choose button color below. Our Cartek GT Battery Isolator kit is normally supplied with a blue external button. Off Decal not included, must be purchased seperately.
Note: These switches are not designed to be used as a stand-alone battery cutoff switch. They are only capable of handling the low current (less than 5 Amp) control circuit of the Cartek Battery Isolator.
