The core height has been lowered slightly to accommodate for various supercharger installations. Many supercharger installations require trimming of the radiator core or lowering the radiator. The slightly reduced height makes such modifications unnecessary with the CSF Radiator. Cutting the header plate on the OEM Radiator can weaken the overall structure of the radiator and you risk damaging the core.
CSF Worked closely with A&A Corvette to develop this radiator to avoid the header plate trimming required to run the induction piping. Cutting or Bending the radiator header plate is a common modification on most supercharger installations. The radiator will also work with all aftermarket ram air intake systems available on the market.
